Once the battery is fully charged, connect one end of the jumper cable to the cars battery and the other end to the jumper cable port on the jump starter. Make sure that the booster cables do not drape across any part of your engine compartment where they could contact moving parts or become hot from exhaust manifolds or catalytic converters.
