I know the metal under the carpet must be rusting away each time this happens.
They made it rain and after about five minutes or so the water was coming in. Close Search.

was told by gm that it was fresh air vent seam on fire wall ,if so what should have been replaced.
:wink: Assuming you do and assuming you Easterners got lots of rain in the last week and your rig has been parked outdoors, chances are that it is the old clogged sunroof drain tube issue.

The only other issue it could be is your AC condensation leaking in there, but that would be on the passenger side of the car porschett thats a funny one wish mine was that simple.

After doing more research I found another suggestion for a fix which consisted of removing the passenger rear tire and opening a weep hole tube located behind the plastic wheel well.

I had so much water in there during the winter, it froze solid and actually pushed up the sill plate.
On the drivers side I was able to gain access to it by laying on my back and reaching up into the dash with my arm.
I had to silicone the mess out of them.

Porschett told you EXACTLY what I tell customers.
have only had to hummer for a few weeks hower it rains a lot in my location but I have not driven it for about 2 weeks and yesterday I NOTICED TE RIGHT FRONT FLOOR MAT AND PADDING WAS VERY WET AND IT HAS RAINED ALOT RECENTLY.
I have not found anything yet I just keep sucking out the water and I mean suck out the water at least an inch of water in the bottom of shop Vac.
He brought the car in like 4 times for us to find the leak.

The car currently has 250000 miles and I plan on keeping the vehicle as I enjoy owning it less the water issue.

Welp, ive read about it numerous times, and it finally got me.
If you take your dash piece off, and check the seal along the bottom of the windshield, I think you might find your problem.

This area was not fully closed from the outside enviroment. Water is pouring in from the ceiling, sunroof, and near emergency brake. FAQ

The fire-wall between the cabin and the engine bay may be open.
I had the water on the carpet issue after being parked in a big thunderstorm and the water was getting under the roof marker lights.

The wire for my amp was ran threw the rubber plug in the fire wall with the main wire harness and i see no leaks around that seal.

Call the 800# for Hummer, sun roof drain holes are plugged.open sunsoof.there are 2 drain holes,,toward front of vehicle.run a length of wire.i used straightened coat hanger..worked fine.good luck, Rear side fenders, check where they clip onto the body.

Instead of the water dripping down the correct path to the ground outside, it was being channeled in to the cabin through the fire-wall.

those damn marker lights on the roof are some times the problem ,check them out also .
It looks like it might have ran down the passenger side a pillar, so im assuming from the lights. __________________
This happened to me as well.
Geiger has some good guys in the work shop they will find the problem and get it fixed.

Can't believe that a car that was so expensive has such a ridiculous problem that GM won't fix.

Fix the clog (or repair the drain tube)reinstall the carpet.
If the windshield isn't sealed correctly, you'll blow the foam all over the place.

fix was put more glue on seals to fill the gaps let dry add water no more leaks for now.
