BoJack says he understands what it's like to have guilt bottled up inside you, and not burden other people with it. Later, Diane asks if they can go soon, because being around so many famous people are making her nervous. BoJack goes to talk to Diane, but Diane tells him that her therapist doesn't want her to talk to him. However, BoJack is double-crossed when Mr. Peanutbutter has the 'D' delivered to his house instead and falsely confessed to stealing it as a romantic gesture for Diane. Princess Carolyn prepares to calls a cleaning service, while Todd and Mr. Peanutbutter take care of their foul-smelling clothes. Besides his love for tennis balls, he hates the game tennis because he gets angry at how nobody ever catches the ball. Gina begins to storm out, and tells BoJack to stay away from her, and get help, or not, because she doesn't care anymore. She runs off crying. Diane needs to come to terms with what happened in Cordovia and her PTSD and find treatment for it. An upset Diane tells Mr. Peanutbutter she made a fool of herself in front of BoJack, and questions why he made her talk to him. The party has ended and in their car, Diane apologizes to Mr. Peanutbutter for ruining another Halloween for him. This angers Mr. Peanutbutter and he interrupts the show to have BoJack sit across from him as he confronts him about kissing Diane. As Woodchuck is an experienced skier, Mr. Peanutbutter loses the race. He immediately guesses what Diane's costume too, and in an annoyed tone asks what she wants. She receives a phone call from Mr. Peanutbutter, who practices a new exercise referred to as their "Daily Download," which involves a heavy amount of repetitive and cyclic phrasing. Mr. Peanutbutter stays in the upstairs bedroom watching Pickles sulk. The same year, Mr. Peanutbutter and Jessica divorced, as Jessica was tired of him taking job offers that were beneath him, and she started dating Justin Timberlake immediately after she broke up with him. Mr. Peanutbutter says they need to think of someone. Todd then tells BoJack he has his work cut out because people hate him right now. A year later, BoJack is seen directing a prison production of Hedda Gabler with his inmates. She says she doesn't want to be in a routine as an old couple. Around this time, he was married to a woman named Katrina. She elaborates, saying that what was part of the betrayal of Mr. Peanutbutter sleeping with Diane, is that they shared an intimate history. Princess Carolyn reminds him of this. Todd then learns from a personal conversation with Mr. Peanutbutter that he has doubts about his marriage to Diane. Princess Carolyn freaks out upon seeing that Todd and Mr. Peanutbutter have started a fire outside. Whenever she said something, Mr. Peanutbutter would stop himself from verbally replying, only responding to what Pickles says by nodding his head, and replied verbally when Pickles wanted an answer from him on how to make things right. Meanwhile, at MBN, Pinky reveals he got promoted to head of programming, as Wanda left MBN and got hired by another network and moved to Detroit. While she was in a relationship with Mr Peanutbutter, BoJack planted a kiss on her lips but she was not interested in reciprocating the affection whatsoever. Joey then apologizes for being awful to Pickles earlier and says since Mr. Peanutbutter has been such a good friend it would be weird having sex with his fiance but once they were in it it felt like "two naked hearts raw and exposed but safe in the home they found in each other." An example of the latter trait is in Higher Love when Mr. Peanutbutter assumes if he just walks around Los Angeles a job opportunity will just simply come to him, and cheerfully ignores the fact he and Diane may lose their house as PB Livin' went bankrupt. He says things like they'll all die one day, and it's cruel to let people love you because you're just promising one day you'll break their hearts. BoJack takes a selfie outside of the Capital building and posts it on Instagram, and the first comment is from Mr. Peanutbutter telling him to turn around. In Mr. Peanutbutter's Boos, he thinks this is why all his relationships fail and why his exes went from fun and happy to bitter and meanbut Diane tells him it's because he dates young women, and they just grow up while he continues to act like a "man-child" who places all the responsibilities, including himself, on them, which tires them and leads them to end their relationship with him. Noticing that Mr. Peanutbutter is upset, Pickles vows to go home and watch the entire season of the show, even if it kills her because she really hates it. In Higher Love, Mr. Peanutbutter's frustrated accountant Oxnard tells him PB Livin' is bankrupt due to him and Todd going through with terrible business ideas. Mr. Peanutbutter says that the only thing hes interested in is making things even between him and Pickles. The following morning, Mr. Peanutbutter visits BoJack at the rehab center, much to BoJacks chagrin. They hear a knock on the door, and Mr. Peanutbutter goes to answer, hoping it's pizza. He is always trying to reach out to BoJack and be his friend. Before ending the call, Diane makes Mr. Peanutbutter promise not to bother their skunk neighbor, stating that she doesn't want to deal with a stinky husband when she returns home. He then puts it back in his pocket unopened. Mr. Peanutbutter tries to tell her the truth about him cheating on her with Diane, but instead, he proposes to her. Afterward, Mr. Peanutbutter tells Diane there's a woman in the restaurant he's at that looks just like her, which makes her laugh, although it is unknown if Mr. Peanutbutter was joking or if he was actually being serious. When Pickles asks how can they make things right, Mr. Peanutbutter says he wants them to be even somehow. Max counters no she is in love with him even though she'd never admitted it to herself. However, Todd, due to an incident involving his "drone throne," actually wins the race, but due to him declining the governor position is left open, and to abide by democracy Mr. Peanutbutter and Woodchuck must both run for Governor, much to the exasperation of Diane. Mr. Peanutbutter calls a lawyer to make sure Disneyland is legal. Pickles and Joey come to Mr. Peanutbutter's table and they announce that they have developed feelings for each other and are now going to make love. She agrees to go despite Mr. Peanutbutter wanting to just stay in. He doesn't seem to take into mind their individual personalities and needs. He asks her if he should improvise the script Flip is writing and Princess Carolyn tells him no but he thinks she is saying yes. Mr. Peanutbutter goes on to say even if he had his assistance it wouldnt be of much use because his representatives assistants went on strike as well. When Pickles said she doesnt want to be mad at him, Mr. Peanutbutter begins to say something but he stops himself and lets Pickles continue. BoJack replies officially it's breaking and entering but he believes it's kind of for everything. Showing he isn't oblivious to how BoJack treats him, he questions why BoJack doesn't like him. Later that night, Mr. Peanutbutter goes home to find Pickles talking to the Pickle Pack on her phone. This was after Jimmy Fallon, the original host, was hit with a bus and "broke his face." Peanutbutter. She says knowing the person is what would make them even. The ships sink and the pasta falls in the ocean. As BoJack is struggling against the crew members, Gina says "What the fuck is wrong with you?" He quickly apologizes and tells her he has to go for a walk. Diane felt pressured to act like she loved parties and socializing and to live up to his "fun" ex-wives, insisting to Mr. Peanutbutter she was having fun when he asked if she was OK. Mr. Peanutbutter instead encourages her to go talk to BoJack, who just got a phone call from his mother, and is asking if it could wait. Pickles goes on to say if they carry on like before, and pretend nothing happened shes going to feel stupid, saying that they cant just go back and Mr. Peanutbutter nods his head in silent agreement. Diane says she probably lost her wallet. They agree fast food doesn't count and stop at a KFC, but it turns out to be "Kiki's French Cuisine," a fancy restaurant full of couples on dates. Mr Peanutbutter's penchant for codependency and his inability look within himself will lead him on a slow spiral of poor decision making and victimization. Mr. Peanutbutter starts to say they should set a date for the wedding but he is interrupted by Pickles telling him about the job opportunity with Joey Pogo. He tells them he'd be delighted to answer questions about his good friend BoJack. On set, Sassy tries to fight off Philbert, but he pins her down and begins violently strangling her. Mr. Peanutbutter reluctantly agrees as the two say they love each other. They decide, after tricking and running away from Von Trapp, to make up the nominees by looking at the list of actors. Later, Pickles and Joey finish having sex in the meat locker. Philbert picks up the landline phone in his bedroom, where he gets the news that the police chief was murdered. Upon learning of this, BoJack decides to hire Character Actress Margo Martindale to stage a bank robbery to steal Diane's engagement ring when she and Mr. Peanutbutter are set to go to the bank, hoping to cause a rift between them by taking away a symbol of their relationship. Pickles then says that can only happen if she also sleeps with someone else. Much to Flea Daniels' annoyance, Mr. Peanutbutter is saying that his face does not look like the face of a trustworthy birthday dad, but instead his face looks like the face of someone who did something terrible, i.e cheat on his girlfriend with his ex-wife a few times, but instead of confessing he proposes to her and now theyre engaged. Wanda tells him in a threatening tone that this is network television, so all their show's problems must be wrapped up in under half an hour, and the people want resolution. An emotional Mr. Peanutbutter jokes about how depressing their conversation got, and they laugh and howl at the moon. Mr. Peanutbutter expresses excitement over Todd having a new girlfriend. BoJack realizes that all his suspects: Flip, Princess Carolyn, Diane, and Mr. Peanutbutter, revolve around the showdeveloping the conspiracy theory the whole show was created to reveal his secrets. After doing so, it is revealed it was Captain Peanutbutter calling, and he announces his surgery was a success. She takes him outside and uses the toilet paper to turn him into a mummy. BoJack suspects this is the direct result of Todd enacting revenge for BoJack's sabotage of Todd's rock opera. She refuses to give them candy because they are too old to be trick or treating and too young to attend the adult Halloween party. He drives her home and gives her the divorce papers. In The Amelia Earhart Story, Princess Carolyn sits in front of the house and garage, both of which are depleted and long abandoned, in her car. They get interrupted by Pickles again and this causes Diane to react harshly. Mr. Peanutbutter then walks inside. However, Todd begins to suggest ideas to Quentin Tarantulino, and is reciprocated due to Tarantulino's eccentricity. Flip tells the cameraman to turn the camera back in. In Planned Obsolescence, Mr. Peanutbutter surprises Pickles, by picking her up from work and inviting her to go with him to the desert, so they can watch the international space station being blown up. At the diner, BoJack asks if Mr. Peanutbutter spends a lot of time with Judah and Princess Carolyn as a couple. Pickles then says they can keep brainstorming. Mr. Peanutbutter casually tells Princess Carolyn, that the cast and crew hate him since word got out that he cheated on his fianc. They shake hands but before she leaves Mr. Peanutbutter tells her about how he's seeing someone romantically. Later that night, Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter toast to their accomplishments, while sitting together in their living room. Mr. Peanutbutter asks for credit for the surprise party, in which Diane says she didn't want it. In a flashback, Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter have dinner at Elefante and talk about how "[they] are the best divorced couple." Instead, he gets cheered, for keeping them informed. He asks Todd to teach him how to be tough. Diane then says it can be jarring when you suddenly don't feel that way anymore. Meanwhile, Diane is offered by celebrity Sebastian St. Clair to come to war-torn Cordovia with him to write a memoir for him similar to what she did for BoJack. Gina tells him that his mom is dead, and Mr. Peanutbutter realizes this after realizing that the farm had no phones or internet. BoJack tells the production assistant to write all this down. In 2007, he starred in an underseas commercial for Seaborn Seahorse Milk, which became popular and is still aired in the present day as seen in Fish Out Of Water and in What Time Is It Right Now, where two fish people recognize Mr. Peanutbutter for it. While Pickles continues talking, neither she nor Mr. Peanutbutter notice the people in their house. However, it's caused some problems, because they're starting to rate drivers on how attractive they are. She says it's because she auditioned for The Mummy movie for the role of the mummy with Brendan Fraserand didn't get the part.
